Boat Fire

Postby Rock » Sun Jun 21, 2015 7:15 pm

Lost our boat and majority of our fishing gear in a fire at Narrows Marina yesterday. Was a huge disappointment to loose out boat not only because of all of the great memories we had on the boat and how dialed we had it for our type of fishing but we have a big annual fishing trip to Canada in 3 weeks.

Found out originally what was happening by watching the US Open. They showed the smoke plumes on the program and it dawned on me, that is eerily close to Narrows Marina. Then I got a text from another guy who has his boat in there as well that he was down there and it started close to where we keep our boat and was headed towards his.

30 boats were lost in the fire as well as many other things. Here is an article that shows some pictures and such. I will try and upload a couple others.

Time to start racing to maybe get another boat to take to Nootka.

I'm so sorry Rock.
That's just brutal beyond words.
Hopefully your insurance will hook you up and I would like to get you out in my boat this summer to get your rod bent.
Hang in there bro! cheers

Thanks Fellas. It has been a little crazy trying to get things worked out.

Nelly would love to get out on the Great White! You will have to let me know when you have an open spot.

I will keep you all posted with how the boat shopping goes. Looked at a Grady White 208 last night that was great boat want to look at a couple aluminum's as well.
