A day off is a day off right?
Even when Mother Nature threw us a curve ball Wednesday with high winds on the sounds and high waters in the local rivers, we had plans to fish!
So we headed to Lake Washington to SLOW troll near the mouth of the Cedar River.
Cutt plug herring has always produced well for us, on this trip we also had one fall to a 4” Pouge plug.
Fishing should only improve as these fish often pack on the weight over the next two months gorging on smolt leaving the river. Most we fish caught averaged around 2.5lbs.
Don't forget it’s a great fisheries to take the kids out too!

Awesome! I need to get the Yak out after 'em. I'd like to try lk Samm. Will the same technique work there too?

Yes. Same techniques work on Lk Samm. Just remember to have your gear way behind you (80+ft.)

Now I don't know if I should go back to the river for Steelhead, 8-2 for BM, or the lake. Too many plans on the plate:)
